I Made A Hat! …sorta.

July 31st, 2009 View Comments

So I was at the mall with my mom and brother on mission to purchase a MacBook Pro for my brother because he’s going off for his first year of college in a few weeks. Skipping past that though, we later decided to hit the “cafetorium” (not food court, according to the mall’s description of their food facility). Anyway, I was totally sidetracked by one of those booths where you can buy a hat with custom embroidery on it. I really don’t know why now, out of all other visits, I decided to get one because that booth has been in that same spot for years. I bought a gray hat with black embroidery that reads, “macdavid pro”. After it was all said and done, I felt like the most special person in the world–I just had a total geek moment or somethin’. Whatever! I was just plain happy…I still am. :)

That’s all!

Danny Choo: “Why…we Mac users still insist on Macs…?”

Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing – Optimus Prime.
The MacBook Pro 15″ decided to die today – the graphics board *and* hard drive kicked the bucket. Decided it was time to upgrade – this time to a 17″ unibody MacBook Pro. Cost was 265,524 yen.

But before I went to Shibuya to pick up this gorgeous machine, I asked why on earth we Mac users still insist on Macs despite the hardware problems – probably because Apple successfully brain washed us ^^;

Currently waiting for the Timemachine to finish restoring to the 17″ – another 10 hours wait! Our lame NAS does not support direct USB and has to restore over the lan. The last Timemachine backup was this morning at 6AM so hopefully everything should be back to normal.

Developers who are restoring from a Timemachine, beknowist that you need to create the temp folders for Apache before it works.

Is your computing life plagued with hardware problems? And when I talk about hardware – am not talking about any hardware attached to your body.

Regarding the bold text above: lol But I don’t really have all the much trouble with mine. Or based on my past experience with my PC, I have less trouble comparatively. But God forbid another tech head pops on this blog to yell I’m “an ignorant ifanboy.” oy! E-ballers be damned! (e-ballers are people that grow massive balls to have the nerve to spout some serious hate against you online; when they’d probably wouldn’t approach you with that same hateful speech in public. In short, some person attacked me online, as I kindly mentioned in a previous post.) But I digress!

So, I absolutely love what Danny posts on his massive “blog”. (I think it’s a blog.) Yeah, he’s cool peeps. Check him out at dannychoo.com! Get synced!
