Project “Schools Out!”: Pirates, school, and homework! Oh my!!
Okay, today’s the day that my student’s perform “Pirates: The Musical.” I believe in them and they will be great!! That aside, I’m freakin’ out because I’m just a high-faluttin’, perfectionist, nut.
Meanwhile…
Good news!! I am finished with my Project Management online class. In all fairness to the subject matter, I didin’t dislike what I was learning at all, it was very cool. I hated how fast-paced the course was going amidst all the rehearsals and performances that I had going on at both of my teaching/directing jobs. It was/still is crazy!! So yeah, I’m head over heels about this, but I know that the insanity isn’t quite over yet.
I have two assignments that I have to complete for my Writing for Interactive Media class–which due to my nutty schedule, I’m taking it as an independent study. I meet with the instructor or do a conference call and then go from there each week. It’s working out, but it’s no less hard. Such is life right? Nothing can come easy. But I also know two wise things to guide me, he who does not work shall not eat, and the meek shall inherit the earth. About that latter bit, I’m keepin’ humble and meek so as to gain the success I know that I can and must achieve.
Well, that’s my update on this grand countdown to summer fun and freedom. w00t!!!!!
Summer vacation FTW!
In the meantime, I’ve got some swashbucklin’ buccaneers to go direct in a stage musical. Laterz!
