DropBox: Cloud Computing Wonder of the Internet
So I have been trying to figure out how to get photos from my iPhone to this blog without using MobileMe, or physically syncing photos with my mac then uploading to here. Thanks to DropBox’s new iPhone app, the problem is solved. I can now take photos with my iPhone and drop them in my dropbox account. When I get back to my computer my photos that I’ve taken and dropped in my account are sitting on my hard drive ready for me to just upload directly into my blog post. I love it!!! I love this company and their team rocks!
Now, as for MobileMe, let me say that I love Apple, if you couldn’t already tell. But Steve let me give some tough love by saying…MobileMe is busted! I hate it and it doesn’t do me a world of good outside of syncing my contacts, calendar and email–which is the only feature I appreciate. Oh and of course the iPhone tracking feature recently added. Outside of those things, I dislike it and I don’t think it’s worth $100 bucks a year. I got my official email notice in my inbox two days ago to renew my MobileMe account and felt depressed. Fix MobileMe. From my Apple-licious heart to yours.
